HDD Locator / Laborer
Full-Time • FTTH / Fiber Construction
$22–$29/hour
Support FTTH and fiber construction projects as a versatile HDD Directional Drill Locator/Laborer. Work closely with dedicated drill crews in a hands-on field environment with steady local work and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Directional Drill Locator for HDD operations
- Track and locate drill heads for accurate bore paths
- Assist with potholing, fiber installation, and job site support
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Requirements:
- 1–3+ years experience in FTTH, fiber optic, or telecom construction
- Valid Driver's License (required); CDL Class A (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with underground utilities and job site safety
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
HDD Operator / Crew Foreman
Full-Time • CDL Preferred
$32–$40/hour
Lead and execute underground directional drilling projects as a skilled HDD Operator/Crew Foreman. Requires strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, construction site management, and technical drilling procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment with precision
- Lead and supervise drilling crews, ensure safety compliance
- Manage heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, water trucks)
- Coordinate with managers for daily work schedules
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HDD and heavy equipment operation
- Valid Driver's License (required); CDL Class A (preferred, not required)
- Strong leadership skills with crew foreman experience
- Knowledge of Vermeer equipment highly desirable
